Privacy policy

At Gifteando we process as little data as possible. This policy explains what information is handled, for what purpose and which third parties are involved.

What data we process and why

• Conversation with the advisor. The messages you type are sent to the Claude API (Anthropic) to generate the questions and gift ideas. We do not ask for identifying data: we recommend not including personal or sensitive information in the chat.
• Usage analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics, which measures visits in an aggregated, cookieless way, without identifying you personally.
• Contact by email. If you write to us, we process your address and the content of your message solely to reply to you.

Legal basis

Processing is based on your consent when using the advisor or contacting us, and on our legitimate interest in maintaining and improving the service.

Third parties involved

• Anthropic (the AI provider that generates the responses).
• Vercel (site hosting and cookieless analytics).
• Amazon and other stores (via affiliate links; their own privacy policies apply once you leave Gifteando).

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area (for example, in the USA), applying the safeguards required by data protection law.

Retention

We do not keep our own record of conversations. Contact messages are kept only for as long as needed to handle your enquiry.

Your rights

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to holagifteando@gmail.com. If you believe your rights have not been properly addressed, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
